Packaging Innovations Qosmedix unveiled two innovative spray bottles that package powder and glitter formulations. The 14mL Fine Mist Powder Spray Bottle (Part # 29561) features a fine mist sprayer for controlled application while the 30mL Powder Spray Bottle with Locking Nozzle (Part # 29562) features an extended nozzle sprayer for a broader application and locks to ensure that product does not spill or escape the bottle during travel or when not in use. Both bottles feature an interior mechanism to help gather the product towards the inner tube, allowing for maximum product depletion. These items can also be used for advanced body painting techniques. Gerresheimer introduced a new marbling technique for glass bottles called Marble Decoration. The individual marble-effect patterns in selected colors can be applied to both transparent and color lacquered glass to create unique results on each bottle. Aptar Beauty + Home introduced Eden’s latest actuator with a compact and robust design. Halo Eden is an all-plastic airless system that offers soft and smooth actuation. It has a leakproof dispenser, is 100% recyclable and is approved by Ecocert Greenlife in accordance with the Natural & Organic Cosmetics standards. Eden’s line includes Eden Slim available in 30mL and 50mL with standard and divine actuators; and Eden Compact available in 50mL, 100mL and 150mL with standard and jar actuators as well as the Halo actuator. VariBlend now offers five versions of its 40mm MidiMix variable dispenser. The 40mm family includes several options: Variable, which permits any setting and mix; Regimen, for daily or weekly treatment and varying mix (e.g., Week 1 80/20, Week 2 60/40, etc.); A or B Simple Select, for A or B only at 100%, for “before/after” treatments; Fixed Ratio 50/50, which now includes a locking position; and Super Select, which allows a choice of A or B (Simple Select), or 50/50. As a result, end-users benefit from total custom-blending of colors and scents, varying strengths and intensities, separation of ingredients and more. The 40mm family is available in a variety of bottle sizes (15-, 20- and 30mL) as well as airless and non-airless, with nozzle combinations that include single-, dual- and spout-nozzle. 28 Spray July 2016
