Easyfairs Oriex announced the appointment of Christelle Anya as Event Director of Aerosol & Dispensing Forum and Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design packaging events. In her new role as Event Director, Anya assumes overall responsibility for the events including the awards and conference program. She becomes the face of the event and will take ownership of all special partnerships and relationships with conference chairs, speakers, judges, VIPs and brands. Ernie Rosenberg, who has led the American Cleaning Institute since 1999, announced he will step down as the association’s President & CEO once a successor has been named and a smooth transition executed, but no later than February 2018. Tometich will report to Mauro Gregorio, incoming CEO of Dow Corning. DSM announced the appointment of Parand Salmassinia as Regional VP Personal Care in North America. Parand has over 19 years experience in the personal care industry, managing key global accounts and projects for Seppic and Merck before taking responsibility for Induchem’s business in the Americas. Additionally, DSM announced the appointment of Uli Osterwalder as Senior Scientific Advisor Sun Care, effective June 1.
