Luster’s Pink launched its Pink Shea Butter Coconut Oil Silkening Sheen Spray, a lightweight shine solution that combines the natural goodness of shea butter, coconut oil and other natural oils to moisturize and nourish dry and dull hair. It offers UV protection to guard against color fading and provides a long-lasting healthy looking shine. The can is from DS Containers. Sexy Hair Concepts released the new Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistant Hair Spray, a high-performance, humidity-resistant spray with polymers to create a shield of protection against sticky weather. The hairspray helps prevent hair styles from collapsing due to climate conditions. The 5oz can is topped with the Moritz Twist-To- Lock accessory on VX valve from Aptar. Also from Sexy Hair Concepts are the new Vibrant Sexy Hair Rose Elixir and CC Hair Perfector. Rose Elixir provides both the hair and body with moisture and shine. UV filters help provide hair color protection and vibrancy for longer. It is packaged in the airless BOV system for easy application at any angle and dispensed with the XL 200 accessory, both from Aptar. The CC Hair Perfector feeds hair and repairs damage. It is infused with proteins and allows hair to stretch without breakage while detangling. Anti-oxidants and UV filters protect against environmental damage while improving hair gloss and color vibrancy. The packaging includes the EuroMist Cardinal treatment pump from Aptar. Sebastian introduced its new Stylbrid 9 primer hairspray, which includes nine care and styling benefits: heat protection, UV protection, curl definition, hold, natural shine, volume, texture, ease of style creation and lightweight in feel. The hairspray is paraben and drying alcohol free. The formula includes Dynamx H2O polymer and Balance CR polymer chemicals from AkzoNobel. Pantene Pro-V’s new Style Series Air Spray promotes a healthy style and feel. This hairspray is alcohol free with a brushable flexible hold formula that leaves hair feeling moisturized and silky soft for healthy style with body and bounce. The actuator and valve are from Aptar. I n the forecast… The salon hair care market in the U.S. saw a considerable increase in the year 2015 and is expected to grow further; nearly 5% by 2020, according to Kline & Co. As more brands expand their sales channels, consumers are granted easier access to salon hair care products.
