Coster
Coster has developed Breeze, a new insert for select
pump applications and aerosols (bag-on-valves and
aerosols using compressed air or nitrogen) that delivers
a soft and gentle spray. Breeze creates microparticles
that provide a delicate, silky and soft feel to sprayed
products. It is suitable for body spray, deodorant spray
and perfume.
Nussbaum Matzingen AG
Nussbaum Matzingen AG has created an aerosol from
100% post-consumer-recycled (PCR) aluminum. Using
aluminum collected from recycling, the scrap is pressed,
converted into slugs and processed into aerosol cans by
Nussbaum using the impact extrusion process. The cans
were made possible by close collaboration with local
material processors and meet the company’s sustainability
and circular economy goals. The cans have the same
quality, aesthetics and safety when filling or transporting
as other aluminum aerosol cans, Nussbaum said.

PYC-Europe
PYC-Europe, a subsidiary of Cosmogen, has launched six lines of
Ecocert-certified, labeled, airless bottles. The lines were inspired by
employees and customers and combine social, environmental and
economic ambitions, PYC-Europe said. The airless packages’ bottom,
body, collar and cap can be made of post consumer recycled (PCR)
resin. PYC-Europe offers two blends: 35% polypropylene (PP) PCR
with 65% PP virgin, or 50% PP PCR and 50% PP virgin. To support
this launch, PYC-Europe has set up a logistics platform in France
to provide turnkey solutions to European customers.
