Voyant Beauty Holdings, LLC has acquired the KIK Personal Care
(KPC) business from KIK Custom Products via Voyant’s parent
company, Wind Point Partners. KPC is a manufacturer and formulator

beauty, over-the-counter
and household products,
including aerosol products and amenities for North American hotels.
Voyant Beauty will now have 15 manufacturing facilities in North
America and internationally. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Aerosol packaging event FEAerosol2020 Lisbon—originally scheduled
to take place at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) in Lisbon, Portugal
on Sept. 23–24, 2020—has been postponed to Sept. 21–22, 2022
at the same venue. According to the European Aerosol Federation
(FEA), the decision to postpone was made in light of the evolving
situation regarding COVID-19 and in close dialogue with its national
associations, participants and exhibitors.
“As multiple aerosol and packaging trade events are already scheduled
in 2021 and FEA Global Aerosol Events are biennial events,
the board of FEA has decided to postpone the FEA Global Aerosol
Events to 2022,” explained FEA Secretary General, Alain D’Haese.
FEA plans to preserve as much of the Aerosol Today conference
program as possible and has scheduled a Virtual FEAerosol2020
event on Sept. 24, 2020 at times convenient to all time zones across
the globe. All FEAerosol2020 exhibitors will be offered a platform to

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of the Southern Aerosol
Technical Association (SATA) has unanimously decided to extend
the current Officer and Board Director terms by one year. The next
election will take place during the 2021 Fall Meeting—Sept. 14–16,
2021 at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, FL. Those

LUXE PACK New York 2020, which had been rescheduled for
September, has now moved to Spring 2021. Organizer Infopro digital
has decided to further postpone the event due to the complexity of
the health crisis in the U.S. surrounding COVID-19, with emphasis
on the uncertainty of domestic and international travel and the
event’s timetable. The venue, the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center,

The French Aerosol Committee (CFA) will hold its Technical
Information Day on Nov. 19 at The Openmind Kfé-Opéra in Paris,
France. Current topics in regulatory, technical, safety, end-of-life and
sustainable development will be discussed by experts who work with

The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) is offering
new perks for Supplier’s Day registrants. The new Digital Pop-Up &
Solutions Center offers education and engagement, such as a dozen
webinar programs (from NYSCC’s At Home Live series); sessions on
trends, color, COVID-19 solutions and hand sanitizers; the Digital
Pop-Up, which allows participants to engage with suppliers; and the
Cosmetic Raws searchable database. NYSCC Supplier’s Day is set for
Sept. 30—Oct. 1 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, NY. More

The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) has rolled out “Healthy
Returns,” a free online toolkit for small businesses and offices that
contains concise, easy-to-understand reminders on hygiene, cleaning
and disinfecting to keep the workplace healthy and safe. It includes
guidance and checklists, posters and handouts about proper disinfecting
protocols and decals. ACI also plans to launch guidance on
cleaning and disinfecting protocols for schools later this year. More

Additionally, ACI has unveiled its “Discover Clean” social media
initiative, featuring weekly #DiscoverClean posts on ACI’s Facebook,
Instagram and Twitter channels with information and tips for
consumers on soaps, hand sanitizers, fabric care products, cleaning
products and disinfectants.
“In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of people are
using cleaning and hygiene products more than ever,” said Melissa
Hockstad, ACI President & CEO. “Through ACI’s ‘Discover Clean’
campaign, we want to enhance consumer insights into how products
and ingredients work and the safety and science behind product
formulation.”
In other news, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s
(EPA) Safer Choice program approved eight cleaning product
ingredients submitted by ACI for inclusion in EPA’s Safer Chemical
Ingredients List (SCIL). ACI worked with environmental consulting
firm Gradient to perform chemical assessments and data for
review by EPA. The approved ingredients include Octadecanoic acid,
2-ethylhexyl ester (CASRN 22047-49-0); Alcohols, C12-15 (CASRN
63393-82-8); Octadecanoic acid, 12-hydroxy- (CASRN 106-14-9);
Fatty acids, C8-18 and C18-unsaturated, sodium salts (CASRN
67701-10-4); Fatty acids, C14-18 and C16-18-unsaturated, sodium
salts (CASRN 67701-11-5); Potassium oleate (CASRN 143-18-0); Fatty
acids, palm-oil (CASRN 68440-15-3); and Sulfuric acid, mono-C14-
