Regis Corp. appointed James Suarez to the
role of VP, Creative. He will be responsible
for developing the technical educational
direction for the Regis family of brands, as
well as new trends and service offerings for
the company. Suarez, who joined Regis in
1997, will also oversee the firm’s Artistic
Team.
Julie Gallucci has moved to Lonza
Consumer Care to take the role of VP of

& Composites division. She is a member

Shaheen Majeed has been promoted to
President of Sabinsa Worldwide. Majeed’s
first job was in the Sabinsa warehouse
when he was just 17 years old, and over
the past 23 years he has held a variety of
positions in the company, most recently
Marketing Director.
Firmenich announced that its Master
Perfumer Harry Fremont is this year’s
recipient of the Fragrance Foundation’s
Lifetime Achievement Award. Raised in
the South of France, Fremont moved to
New York in 1990 to open Firmenich’s
Creative Center. Notable creations and cocreations
include Ralph Lauren Romance,
Bath & Body Works’ Japanese Cherry
Blossom, Estée Lauder’s Modern Muse,
Calvin Klein’s CK One and Yves Saint
Laurent’s Mon Paris, as well as several Axe
variants.
Joseph Liptock joined INOLEX as Technical
Account Director responsible for servicing
Western U.S. accounts. Previously, he
was Director of R&D at Kate Somerville,
where he managed the technical development
of high-end cosmetics, including
ingredients sourcing, market scalability,
product regulatory needs and technical
marketing.
L’Oréal Canada has appointed Stéphanie
Binette to the position of CMO, effective
Aug. 1. She will replace Stéphane Bérubé,
who will stay within the L’Oréal Group as
CMO for the Western Europe zone, based
