Aerosol container
U.S. Patent No. 10,427,863
Purple Holding AB
Purple Holding AB, Malmo, Sweden, patented an
aerosol container. It has a stabilizing member forming housing
for an aerosol valve (100) having a valve stem (150) to
u
operate the valve (100). The stabilizing member comprises a
body having a resilient portion arranged at the periphery of the
stabilizing member for snap-fitting in a groove (18) of an associated
hollow body (12). It also has a radial projection arranged
at the periphery of the stabilizing member and axially displaced
relative to the resilient portion, wherein the radial projection is
configured to seal against the associated hollow body (12).
Automotive protectant compositions with improved vertical cling
U.S. Patent No. 10,385,232
The Armor All/STP Products Co.
The Armor All/STP Products Co., Danbury, CT, patented compositions, methods of use and kits for use as protectant compositions
and/or cleaning compositions. The compositions comprise at least one surfactant and at least one rheology modifier and
water. The compositions also optionally comprise pH adjusters, builders, alkalinity sources, wetting agents, spreading agents and
UV absorbers. They have a viscosity of about 4,000 to 6,000 cps and exhibit a vertical cling parameter of between 1– ~7 at a temperature
of about 25°C on automotive surfaces to which the compositions are applied.
In one further embodiment of the present disclosure is a vehicular cleaning kit employing the inventive automotive protectant,
a dispensing package and instructions to apply the protectant directly onto a cleaned or soiled automotive surface. This kit may
include an aerosol sprayer or a trigger sprayer that enables the uniform application of the protectant composition to a surface and
exhibits a vertical cling parameter of between 1– ~7 at a temperature of about 25°C.
Insect repellent composition
U.S. Patent No. 10,391,045
Dell, Ian Thomas
Ian Thomas Dell, Darlington, UK, patented an economical and simple method to produce para-menthane-3,8-diol in relatively high
yield. The product is useful as a repellent against noxious insects and other arthropods. It is comprised of PMD-citronellal acetal,
isopulegol and p-menthane-3,8-diol, which approximates to a ternary eutectic and is liquid at ambient temperatures. The formulation
can be in the form of an aerosol, sprayable liquid, foam, cream, ointment, gel, paste, powder or a friable solid.
