Not your grandma’s cooking spray…
No pun intended, but cooking oils are hotter than ever. It’s
no secret that cooking sprays work well in low-fat cooking,
but beyond the calorie count and non-stick ease, the consistent
coating of cooking sprays also holds parchment paper in
place and helps prevent leftover avocado from browning.
The growing trend is to move away from traditional cooking
spray ingredients and offer cooks a
higher level of differentiation, not just in
additives but in functionality. For example,
Grid Iron Sprease 14oz. panini and
waffle release spray creates a non-stick
coating on panini grills and waffle makers.
It is specially formulated to release
grilled sandwiches and waffles from the
griddle without sticking or breaking.
Baker’s Sprease 16oz. baking release
spray is specially formulated to help
tackle a variety of baking
tasks. It creates a non-stick
coating on a variety of
surfaces, including bun,
bread and muffin pans.
Made with canola oil to
handle high heat, it is free of fat, cholesterol,
calories and sodium.
