Additionally, the Board introduced new OESP Executive Directorship, Lisa Strug and Jonathan Jaffe, Jaffe Communications. They will take over this position effective Aug. 1. According to OESP, Strug and Jaffe will devote their best efforts to provide strategic media relations, communications and association management services for OESP. Judy Garber will continue to help work the EEE event to be held in 2017 in Hershey, PA. Each host partner had the opportunity to bring its unique events to the EEE: OESP’s Golf Tournament raised over $17,000 for the Dave Nelsen Scholarship Fund, Supplier Hospitality Night witnessed an enthusiastic crowd and OESP had an inspiring Awards Banquet. A combined closing event at High Rollers was a perfect ending to the convention while the new Women in Energy event brought a nice jump start to a program that will be expanded. Plans are already underway for next year’s event to be held May 21–25 in Hershey, PA.
