This year, 70% of retailers surveyed are investing “significantly” in a mobileoptimized website for the coming holiday season, although some may be overlooking the need for distinct tablet-specific experiences.  Additionally, one-quarter of retailers surveyed also are investing significantly in imagery, both still and video. Holiday shoppers rate “clear product descriptions” as a very important factor, and retailers need to ensure they’re adequately prioritizing these assets and optimizing product information for mobile devices.
