People in the News Coster announced the appointment of Bernard Msellati as Group CEO. Most recently, he was Senior VP in charge of commercial, procurement, innovation and make-up for Fareva Group. Lindal Group announced Ünal Varol has been named to the new position of Global BOV Business Manager and will report to Phil Lever, the company’s Group Commercial Director. Varol was previously General Manager, Lindal Turkey, and has years of experience in BOV technology. Hope Riggs, pre-press manager at Ball Corp., Canton, OH, manufacturing facility, will receive the Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering & Production) Ahead Award on April 20, in Washington, D.C. The STEP Ahead Awards honor women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers and represent all levels of the manufacturing industry. Coty Inc. announced that Esi Eggleston Bracey, President Coty Consumer Beauty, has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. Laurent Kleitman, currently Executive VP Global Hair Care category at Unilever, has been appointed President Coty Consumer Beauty. Kleitman will report directly to Camillo Pane, Coty’s CEO, and will be a member of the Coty Executive Committee. Estée Lauder appointed Marie Han Silloway Senior VP, Global Consumer Marketing. In this newly created position, she will be responsible for developing advanced consumer marketing strategies and oversee Estée Lauder’s social and digital media, omnichannel, promotional, online and in store initiatives. Silloway previously held senior positions at Coca- Cola, Starbucks and, most recently, Godiva. Additionally, Matthew Parr has been named Senior VP, Global Creative Director. He succeeds Richard Ferretti, who was recently named Global Creative Director at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Parr will lead all creative aspects of the Estée Lauder flagship brand. Tekni-Plex announced that Joseph Horn has joined the company as Senior VP General Manager of its Tekni-Films global business unit. Horn will be reporting to Paul Young, CEO of Tekni-Plex, and will be heading the company’s Tekni-Films operations in Belgium, Italy, the U.S. and Argentina. 36 Spray April 2017 Revlon, Inc. announced the appointment of Linda Wells, former Editor of Allure magazine, to the new role of Chief Creative Officer. Wells will support the brands’ strategic growth priorities and will report to Fabian Garcia, President & CEO of Revlon. Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. announced the appointment of Mark Lawrence as CFO, effective March 27. Lawrence will replace Ritch Wood, who will become the CEO of the company. Truman Hunt, who has served as the company's CEO since 2003, will become the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ryan Napierski will become the company’s President. Piyada Charoensirisomboon was appointed as VP, Global Development, Personal Care at BASF on Feb. 1. Prior to this, Charoensirisomboon managed BASF’s Advanced Chemicals’ Innovation Campus Asia Pacific in Shanghai. She joined BASF in 2000 as a Research Fellow and has held various positions in marketing, R&D and new business development. She succeeds Karlheinz Hill, who retired in December, having been with the company for more than 30 years. Firmenich announced the appointment of Armand de Villoutreys as President, Perfumery & Ingredients, effective July 1. Based in Paris, he will continue to report directly to Firmenich CEO Gilbert Ghostine. As part of this strategic organization change, Amaury Roquette, VP, Sales, Ingredients, will report directly to de Villoutreys and lead the Ingredients business unit and team globally. Givaudan announced that Calice Becker was appointed Director of the Givaudan Perfumery School. With the support of Alain Alchenberger, she will lead the training of the future perfumery talents. Becker will continue to create fragrances for select customers. OBITUARY Nancy Seymour Heatley, PhD, CEO of Seymour of Sycamore paint company and daughter of the company’s founder, the late Edward Seymour, passed away on Feb. 15. Heatley was on the American Coatings Association Board of Directors and oversaw Seymour of Sycamore’s involvement in many other associations, including the Canadian Paint & Coatings Association, Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) and the Midwest Aerosol Association (MAA). Heatley was survived by her children, grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Varol
