David Neuberger, who previously served as VP and General Manager, North America Industrial Specialties for Ashland, has been named VP, Pharmaceutical, Nutrition and Agriculture. International Fragrance Association (IFRA) North America appointed Amanda Nguyen as the Director of Government Affairs & Legal, effective July 25.Most recently, Nguyen served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Tennessee Office of the Attorney General and Reporter. Alterna Haircare appointed Raphaël Grange to the position of General Manager, filling the open role of CEO/ President. Grange took on the role in July and is based out of the New York City Alterna corporate headquarters. After successful tenures in leadership positions at P&G and Henkel, he was most recently promoted to General Manager for Henkel Beauty Care in South Korea. Farouk Systems Inc. has reappointed Rami Shami, son of founder Dr. Farouk Shamias, as CEO. Shami’s goals include overseeing the upcoming launch of the Esquire men’s grooming line in October, while planning the company’s global conference scheduled for 2017. He is also planning the expansion of CHI Partner Schools as well as growing distribution both nationally and internat ionally. Walmart Canada has announced Lee Tappenden as its new CEO, replacing Dirk Van den Berghe, who served as CEO since 2014. Tappenden joined Walmart Canada in 2010 and was most recently COO. He has also served as Chief Merchandising Officer with Walmart Japan and VP of Merchandising for the international division. Parlux Fragrances, LLC named Dominic Pisani Senior VP of Sales. Most recently, Pisani served as Senior VP of sales for Coty, a position he held for over 11 years. He also held senior management positions at Chanel, Christian Dior, Lancaster and Revlon. Alban Muller International welcomed Valérie Plotnikova as Business Development Manager of its new Los Angeles office. She has more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, working for Lancôme, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Radical Skincare, among others.
