The Clorox Co.
The Clorox Co., Oakland, CA, patented a cleaning composition to sanitize and/or disinfect hard surfaces, comprising a cationic
biocide, surfactant and low levels of volatile organic compound (VOC) solvents. The cleaning composition is adapted to clean a
variety of hard surfaces without leaving behind visible residue and creates low levels of streaking and filming on the treated surface.
It contains less than 5% by weight of VOCs and may be used alone as a liquid or in a spray formulation. It can be put into
an aerosol spray, liquid spray or semi-solid form. The cleaning composition can be used by itself or combined with other cleaning
formulations.
