Spray Patterns AVA CARIDAD Editorial Director The historic Brexit vote and its consequences for the industry remain a dominant topic in the British aerosol packaging market with the devaluation of the British pound being the main impacting factor for the time being, according to www.EUWID-packaging.com. However, the suppliers of cans interviewed by EUWID are equally preoccupied with the development of upstream material costs. The hikes in tinplate prices in the UK are reported to be greater than those registered in continental Europe, said EUWID. Turtle Wax and the Chicago Wolves professional hockey team are once again partnering to show their appreciation for the brave men and women of Chicagoland’s emergency response teams by launching their annual campaign to raise $25,000 for the 100 Club of Chicago. Founded in 1966, the 100 Club of Chicago is a charitable Illinois organization that provides for the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. “As a 30-year supporter of the 100 Club of Chicago, I have seen how these incredible first responders risk their lives so that we can be safe and secure in our homes, workplaces and communities,” said Denis Healy, Co-Chairman, Turtle Wax and Executive Board VP, 100 Club of Chicago. “We are thankful to the entire Chicago Wolves organization and their fans for their continued partnership in this important fundraising endeavor.” To kick-off the campaign and help reach the program goal of raising $25,000 for the 100 Club of Chicago, Turtle Wax has pledged $20,000 and, with the Chicago Wolves, are asking the community to help aid in the noble cause. Turtle Wax is also donating 2,000 tickets to first responders and their families to enjoy the First Responders Night game at Allstate Arena on April 15, as the Chicago Wolves take on the Charlotte Checkers in their last home-game of the season.
