well as do-it-yourselfers, announced the issuance of a patent for its CRC GDI IVD Intake Valve & Turbo Cleaner. The technology
includes systems for the reduction or elimination of intake valve deposits in gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines and
related methods, including the delivery device, conduit and actuator. The aerosol product cleans GDI intake valves when applied
through the engine’s air intake or throttle body and delivered directly to the back of the valves. According to Adam Selisker,
Global VP of R&D for CRC, the number of vehicles with GDI engines in the U.S. is expected to exceed 80 million by 2021.

antiperspirant active particulate and one or more non-antiperspirant active particulates that are substantially inert.
Extended Release Fragrance Compositions

Avon Products, Inc., Rye, NY, has patented a long-wearing composition to provide extended release of fragrance. The composition
contains a hydrophilically-modified cross-linked silicone elastomer; acrylic rheology modifier; polyol; alcohol; and a fragrance oil.
The composition is capable of releasing the fragrance oil over a longer period of time as compared to an otherwise identical composition
lacking either the hydrophilically-modified cross-linked silicone elastomer or said acrylic rheology modifier.
