Market Beat Global aerosol market to reach $70.15 billion by 2020 A new study by Grand View Research predicts the global aerosol market will reach $70.15 billion by 2020, primarily due to growing prevalence in personal care and household products. New product development in Europe and North America and increasing cosmetics demand from Asia Pacific and Latin America will continue to drive personal care as the largest application segment, but growth is also dependent on demand in paints, medical, food, automotive and adhesives applications. Global aerosol demand is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.1% from 14.61 billion units in 2013 to over 18 billion units by 2020. Household aerosol applications will witness the fastest growth, at an estimated 3.5% CAGR, as a result of increasing demand from the home furnishing market and rising hygiene awareness. Asia Pacific is expected to be the fastest growing regional market, due to a relaxed regulatory scenario and high demand for both cosmetics and household products.
