Spray October 2016

Body Beautiful Personal care and beauty sales in the U.S. registered a healthy performance in 2015, with stronger growth than that of the previous year, according to market research firm Euromonitor International. The U.S. economy as a whole remained strong in 2015, with rising employment and falling fuel prices allowing consumers to spend more money on personal care and beauty products. In some categories, this increasing consumer confidence hurt retail sales as consumers opted to spend their money in salons or on other beauty services. In others, this stronger purchasing power prompted a shift from mass to premium products. With the U.S. economy as a whole poised for continued moderate growth, consumers are likely to increase their expenditure on products Niche companies, organic products lead the way in personal care... that make them look and feel good. While growth may slow as the overall economic recovery reaches a plateau, beauty and personal care is expected to continue growing steadily. The categories that are predicted to perform particularly well include spray deodorants, unisex fragrances, liquid soap, bath additives and premium color cosmetics.
