Mexican aerosol market jumps almost 22% Instituto Mexicano Del Aerosol, A.C. (IMAAC) reported that Mexico’s aerosol market saw an impressive 21.87% increase in 2013 aerosol fillings, as compared with 2012. According to IMAAC, the Personal Care category experienced the greatest surge with 286.56 million fillings, up from 2012’s 207 million, an increase of 38.33%. Other categories that saw an increase were Household Care (35.49%), Pharmaceutical (3.91%) and Insecticides (3.18%). Categories that saw a decrease were Paints (-.05%), Others (-6.25%), Recreational (-6.66) and Industrial (-7.21%).
