The Museum of Graffiti,
Miami, FL, opened its doors
in December. Billing itself
as the world’s first museum
dedicated to the history of
graffiti art, veteran street artist
and co-founder Alan Ket
says it will be a “place for
people to come and learn.”
Two years ago, Ket met
Allison Freidin, a Miami-based lawyer who had represented a number of street artists, and the pair decided to launch the for-profit museum.
They started out by commissioning 11 murals for the facade of the building. More custom artwork greets visitors inside, where there is also a
permanent exhibition charting the movement’s 60-year history, told through such relics as photographs of long-gone murals and vintage aerosol
cans from famous artists. Two additional galleries house exhibitions by contemporary artists and there’s a space for rotating installations. The
museum is currently closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but check it out, including the gift shop—featuring artist-designed toys, apparel,
prints and a custom denim bar for applying pins and patches—online. More info: museumofgraffiti.com
Procter & Gamble (P&G), Cincinnati, OH, has sold its
massive manufacturing plant in Kansas City, KS, but will
lease the property for at least the remainder of this year as
operations wind down. P&G didn’t disclose the price of the
facility’s sale to New Mill Capital, a California firm that
specializes in the disposition of manufacturing equipment and
real estate, although the appraised value of the plant was
more than $14.2 million, according to JLL, which oversaw the
sale. The complex, which employs approximately 280 full-time
workers, encompasses a total of more than 574,500 sq ft on
66.17 acres that includes manufacturing space of 186,000 sq
ft, warehouse/packing space of 200,000 sq ft and office space
of 160,000 sq ft. The sale is the latest step in P&G’s plans
to transfer production to a new facility in West Virginia.

Clorox recently launched CloroxPro Clorox 4-in-One Disinfectant
& Sanitizer in a new Lavender scent. According
to the company, the versatile aerosol disinfects hard surfaces,
sanitizes soft surfaces and the air and reduces allergens
with no pre-cleaning required. It joins Citrus-scented
CloroxPro 4-in One Disinfectant & Sanitizer.
It is U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-
registered as both a disinfectant on hard surfaces and a
sanitizer on soft surfaces. Cleaning professionals can help
protect against the spread of germs more easily and efficiently
by reducing the number of products they need to
tackle multiple types of surfaces, from chairs, couches, curtains and
bedspreads to gym benches, equipment, tables and desks. Due to the
COVID-19 outbreak, Clorox announced that it has increased production
of its CloroxPro & Clorox Healthcare products.
