Procedure:
Add ESP A+ Powder slowly to rapidly stirring water in main mixing vessel and
allow mixing until the powder is completely solubilized. Add Citric Acid (50%
aq. Sol) slowly to the stirring mixture until pH is 4.5–5.0. Note: a flowable,
pseudoplastic gel will form as the pH drops. Begin heating Part A to 65°C with
slow mixing. Premix Part B, Sisterna SP 70-C to Glycerin to form a slurry, then
add to Part A with slow mixing. Increase heat to 75–80°C and continue mixing
until uniform. In a secondary mixing vessel, add Part C ingredients and heat
to 75°C–80°C, bringing Part C to a uniform liquid with mild agitation. Add
Part C to the main mixing vessel at the same temperature with rapid agitation.
Maintain temperature and rapid mixing for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and
continue mixing with rapid agitation. Note: a cottage cheese appearance will be
noticed until the mixture reaches a temperature of around 45°C, whereupon a
smooth appearance will be noticed. At ≤ 40°C, add Part D ingredients one at a
time, mixing well after each addition. Add Part E (preservative) and make up to
final weight. Pour and package product.

Oil Protect You!
(Formula # JZ13-201)
Description: This alcohol- and silicone-free sunscreen oil spray, designed for
sun protection on skin and hair, makes use of singlet state-quenching SolaStay
S1, triplet state-quenching polycrylene and HallBrite PSF to photostabilize
avobenzone without octocrylene, benzophenone-3 or ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate.
Low-viscosity sunscreen solvents and emollients such as HallBrite
BHB, Sensolene Light ET, HallStar IPM-NF, HallStar Octyl Isononanoate and
HallTress DIBA Special ensure avobenzone is completely dissolved and help
deliver a light emolliency with non-oily after-feel. BLUE Oléoactif contributes
blue light protection.
