Sunny Jain will join Unilever as President, Beauty
& Personal Care in June. He will also become
a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive
(ULE) team. Jain hails from Amazon, where he has
served as head of the Core Consumables business
unit since 2013. Prior, Jain served with Procter &
Gamble for 16 years.
American Cleaning Institute has named Korie
Traver as CFO. She has more than 20 years of
experience in the nonprofit financial sector, most
recently serving as Director of Finance at The
Education Trust, Inc. She has also held positions
with North Penn Legal Services, Inc., Children’s
Home of Wyoming Conference and Parente,
Randolph, Orlando, Carey & Associates. Traver
succeeds Helen Benz, who is retiring.
Silgan Holdings Inc. has appointed Adam Greenlee as President.
Greenlee will continue to serve as COO, as well. CEO Anthony
Allott has been named Chairman of the Board. Co-founders of the
company, R. Philip Silver and D. Greg Horrigan, will continue to
serve as Directors of the company, but will step down as Non-Executive
Co-Chairmen of the Board.
Mace Security International, Inc. has hired Julie Koenig as VP of
Sales. Koenig hails from companies such as Party Animal Inc. and
US Cotton, LLC, where she served as VP of Sales & Marketing.
Mary Beth Edwards was appointed Group VP, Global Sourcing of
Sally Beauty Holdings and a member of the senior leadership team.
Edwards hails from Arrow Electronics where she spent 24 years,
most recently as VP of Global Business Operations. Heather Plutino,
Sally Beauty’s Group VP of Finance and Treasurer, also joined the
senior leadership team. Plutino previously served
with ascena retail group, and prior, Target Corp.
and Charming Shoppes.
The recipient of the 2019 Perfumed Plume
Awards Fragrance Book of the Year is “Spritzing
to Success…With the Woman Who Brought an
Industry to Its Senses” by Annette Green, Founder
& President Emeritus of The Fragrance Foundation.
The awards ceremony took place at The Society of Illustrators
in New York City in April. The book, published in 2018, shares
Green’s experiences and knowledge of many important moments in
the fragrance industry.
The Fragrance Foundation will honor
American fashion designer, film director,
screenwriter and film producer Tom Ford
with the Hall of Fame Award at the 2019
Fragrance Foundation Awards on June 5 in
New York City. Ford created his eponymous
brand in 2005 after serving as creative
director at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent.
He launched the Black Orchid fragrance in
2006 under Tom Ford Beauty.
Bell Flavors & Fragrances welcomed Udo Ludwig as Senior
Analytical Perfumer. Ludwig hails from several fragrance and flavor
companies in North America and Europe, as well as Aveda. Chelsea
Gannage has been appointed as Marketing Specialist. Prior, Gannage
served in marketing at Lieberman Research Worldwide and
Kellogg’s in Spain. Bell hired David Banks as Marketing Director.
He most recently served as VP of Global Strategy, Innovation and
Food & Beverage at Aimpoint Research, and previously, with
Givaudan, Mane and Kerry. Khalid Akel was promoted to VP of
Manufacturing after serving as Director of Operations. Noreen Lally
was promoted to VP of Global Regulatory. Christopher Warsow
was appointed Bell’s Director Culinary Applications & Corporate
Executive Chef. Prior, Warsow was Bell’s Research Chef. Robert
Barrera was promoted to Flavors–Sr. Principle Technical Scientist,

OBITUARY
Robert “Scott” Corbin, Product Manager
at Haumiller Engineering, passed away
on Feb. 1. He earned a Bachelor’s degree
in Management & Leadership from
Judson College in Elgin, IL and was a
long-time member of the Southern Aerosol
Technical Association (SATA). Corbin
is survived by his wife and two daughters.
His family requests donations to Operation Smile or American
Association for Cancer Research in his memory.
