Procedure:
Disperse the Sunspheres Powder into water+Cocoate BG and heat up to 55°C
then homogenize with Ultra Turrax (13000 rpm) for 15 minutes (Cocoate BG
is added to reduce the formation of foam). Then add A2 into A1 under mixing.
Mix for 10 minutes to let the gel swell. Then add A3 and A4 to neutralize
the Carbopol. Then add A5 and heat up to 55°C. Heat B up to 78°C until
complete solubilization. Introduce slowly B (75°C) into A (55°C) under mixing
1500 rpm and maintain mixing for 30 minutes. During the cooling step maintain
the mixing at 1200 rpm. At 35 °C add Parts C, D and E and mix at 1200
rpm for five minutes. Then add F to adjust pH at 6.3 and mix for five minutes
at 1200 rpm. Cool to 25 °C under mixing.

Broad Spectrum O/W Sunscreen Lotion Spray SPF 50 PA
(Formula # JZ10-301)
Description:
This oil-in-water sunscreen lotion spray formulation is designed to provide globally
broad spectrum, label SPF 50 performance. AvoBrite protects Avobenzone
from photodegradation, improving sunscreen performance. HallBrite BHB enhances
spreadability and provides elegant emollience. In vitro analysis delivered
SPF ~ 58, PFA (PPD) ~20 (PA ++++), broad spectrum performance with critical
wavelength 379 nm.

Procedure:
Add Part A to a secondary vessel and start mixing. Add Part B and heat to
80°C. Add Part C, then Part D and mix well. To the main vessel, add Part E and
start mixing. Add Part F items in order. Mix until fully incorporated, then heat
to 75°C. When both are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures,
slowly add Part ABCD to Part EF with prop mixing. Start cooling with mixing.
When batch is at 50°C or lower, very slowly add previously prepared Part G
dispersion and mix for 20 minutes. Add Part H items one by one with mixing.
Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature. Replace any water lost to
evaporation and mix until smooth.
