People in the News Levit Hutchison Chapuy DeCock Kress Pages May 2017 Spray 41 Matias Levit has been appointed CEO of aluminum aerosol can manufacturer Condensa, headquartered in Arica, Chile. Levit has been with Condensa for eight years and his most recent positions included Sales Director and Director of Marketing. Edgewell Personal Care Co. announced that Colin Hutchison was appointed to the newly created role of COO, effective April 4. He will report directly to David Hatfield, Chairman, CEO & President of Edgewell. Hutchison brings nearly 30 years of operational and leadership experience in consumer goods to the COO role, including 13 years with Edgewell. He joined the company in 2004 and served as Personal Care’s VP, Commercial, International since 2015. Prior to joining the company, Hutchison held various positions in Europe, including those with United Biscuits and the Campbell’s Soup Co. L’Oréal announced that Cyril Chapuy was appointed to the newly created position of Deputy General Manager, L’Oréal Luxe, in charge of International Brands. He will report to Nicolas Hieronimus, President Selective Divisions of L’Oréal. Chapuy joined the company in 1993. Action Technology, a Tekni-Plex company, promoted Peter De Cock to Global Sales Director. He joined the company more than 30 years ago and has held various positions of increasing responsibility. He will lead worldwide sales efforts for a variety of aerosol and pump dispensing components that are used to dispense food, beverage, personal care, pharmaceuticals, household, and industrial products. Revlon, Inc. announced that Serge Jureidini will be joining the company as President, Elizabeth Arden & Fragrances, reporting directly to Fabian Garcia, President & CEO of Revlon. Most recently, Jureidini served as President & CEO of Arcade Beauty; he will succeed both JuE Wong, President, Elizabeth Arden and George Cleary, President Fragrances, who recently left the company DSM’s Personal Care Business Unit named Rishabh Pande as Senior Director Global Marketing & Innovation Personal Care, becoming a member of the Personal Care & Aroma Management Team. He joined DSM in 2012 as Regional Director Personal Care, Asia Pacific. Additionally, Isabelle Renault recently joined DSM Personal Care & Aroma as Regional Head, Europe, Middle East & Africa Personal Care. She will be based in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland. She previously worked at CIBA GEIGY, Huntsman and Marc Rozier. Henkel has named Rahmyn Kress as its Chief Digital Officer, a move designed to accelerate Henkel’s digital activities. He will report directly to Henkel CEO Hans Van Bylen. Jordan Petkov, Ph.D., has joined Lonza Consumer Care as Global Head of Research & Technology for its Personal Care & Hygiene businesses. Prior to joining Lonza, Petkov served for two years as a Global Research & Development Director for KLK Oleo; he began his career as a Science Area Leader for Unilever at the Research & Development Center in Port Sunlight, UK. Eurofragance has appointed Andrés Pagés as General Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. In this new position, Pagés will be responsible for boosting Eurofragance’s presence in the area. Previously, he was Commercial Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at International Flavors & Fragrances. He has also worked for Givaudan as an Account Manager for Mexico and Central America. Since 2015, he has been President of the National Association of Manufacturers of Aromatic Products (ANFPA).
