Surveys, S’mores and WD-40
Our editorial team had the pleasure of visiting the new WD-40 Co. Technical
Center in New Jersey this spring. The imposing new offices feature
labs, training rooms, comfy idea-sharing spaces, “huddle rooms,”
and impressively, a diner booth in its generous kitchen. Hey, this is New Jersey
we’re talking about after all, and diners are in our DNA. Enjoy the full write up
of this state-of-the-art facility on p. 20.
Also, this issue highlights the results of the HCPA Aerosol Product Survey
(p.14). As always, we like to emphasize the results by featuring innovative
products that correspond to the data categories. And while I have diners on my
mind, I have to say that one of my favorite new products featured is the Limited
Edition Gay Lea Real Toasted Marshmallow Whipped Cream. Mm-mmm…no
more burning my fingers on the camp fire. Or more accurately, on the kitchen
burner.
Be sure to read the Category Highlights to the end, where HCPA’s Nicholas
Georges explains why the survey is so important to the aerosol industry. Participation
is down, and the survey is only as good as the information the HCPA
Aerosol Division Survey Committee receives. If you haven’t ever participated,
or haven’t in a while, please consider doing so in 2019 to help present an accurate
