Thailand aerosol production jumps almost 4%...
The TAA released figures for 2017 aerosol production in Thailand at its General Meeting in April. Total
aerosol production last year was 299.6 million cans, up from 289 million in 2016. Tinplate steel accounted
for almost 140 million cans, while aluminum cans numbered 160 million. Compared with 2016,
aerosol fillings in Thailand grew almost 3.67%.
Personal care products were the most popular at 40%. Insect Sprays accounted for 23%, followed by
Spray Paint at 20%, Household at 12%, Industrial at 4% and Others at 1%.
The TAA now has 25 member companies with the addition of RB in 2018 and Chaturong and PTT in

The Thai Aerosol Association (TAA) celebrated its
10-year anniversary with a three-day event on
Feb 12–14 at the Bangkok International Trade
& Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The happening featured
an aerosol exhibition, a meeting of the Asian Aerosol
Federation (AAF) and an industrial forum. Forum
presentations included Valve Selection Technique by
Precision Valve Thailand; Aerosol Production Safety by
Thai Daizo Aerosol; Technology Innovation for Safety,
Productivity & Product Quality by Emerson; Solstice
Propellant for Aerosol Applications in Personal Care
by Honeywell and Open Air Gassing of Aerosols: the
Cheapest & Safest Solution by the Latin American
Aerosol Federation (FLADA).
Additionally, the anniversary event included an
AAF golf outing, gala awards dinner and tours of Thai
