People in the News Precision Global announced that James Taylor has been appointed U.S. Director of Sales. He will be based in Greenville, SC and report to Precision’s Chief Commercial Officer, Markus Raab. Taylor previously served as a Commercial Development Manager for Jindal Films Americas LLC. Prior to that, Taylor developed and commercialized numerous packaging and labeling products at Printpack Inc. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA. Coster Tecnologie Speciali S.p.A. appointed Martina Segatta as the new the Chair of the Board. Daniele Calza, who was appointed to this position in 2015 after the death of Rolando Segatta, has resigned. He will continue as Director of the Coster Board. 32 Spray June 2017 OBITUARIES Hans Peter Lilienthal, former Director of Lindal Valve Company Limited, Lindal Holdings Limited and Aerosol Research & Development Limited, passed away on April 6 at the age of 74 in Hamburg, Germany. Lilienthal He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a sister. Mitchell “Mitch” Maloney, Account Executive for Custom-Pak Products Inc. (Raabe), passed away on April 25 after a yearlong battle with a rare, aggressive NET cancer. He was with Custom-Pak Products for the past 10 years and spent over 35 years in the aerosol and touchup paint industry. Maloney also had the distinction of traditionally being the very first person to return Spray Fillers Directory questionnaire each January. The Estée Lauder Cos. announced leadership appointments for its two largest markets, North America and the UK & Ireland. Thia Breen, Group President, North America, has made the decision to retire. Chris Good, President, UK & Ireland, has been named her successor in the role of President, North America. Succeeding Good is Philippe Warnery, current General Manager, Canada, who has been appointed Senior VP & General Manager, UK & Ireland. The changes are effective July 1. Lucy Gildea has been hired as Chief Scientific Officer for Mary Kay Inc. Gildea, who rose to be an Associate Director during the 15 years she worked for Procter & Gamble, will lead Mary Kay’s global R&D efforts. L’Oréal has appointed Nicolas Hieronimus to the newly-created position of Deputy Chief Executive. During his 30-year career at L’Oréal, he developed the skincare business, with the creation of Dermo Expertise, Solar Expertise and Men Expert. Revlon, Inc. appointed Christopher Peterson to the new role of Chief Operating Officer, Operations, effective immediately. In this capacity, Peterson will be responsible for overseeing the Global Supply Chain, Finance and IT functions. He will report to Fabian Garcia, President & CEO of Revlon. Prior to joining the company, Peterson served as President, Global Brands at Ralph Lauren Corp. Coty Inc. has named Sean Foster as Global SVP of Ecommerce, overseeing the firm’s ecommerce strategy and execution for all three of Coty’s divisions.
