Fekkai’s 15 SKUs are housed under five hair care collections:
Technician Color Care, Brilliant Gloss, Full Blown Volume,
Super Strength and Baby Blonde. Among the products is the Full
Blown Volume Dry Texturizing Mist, a texturizing spray created
for flat, fine hair and imparts instant volume and an airy texture.
It is safe for color- and keratin-treated hair.
A dry cleanse
Concerns about damaged hair, as well as consumers’
overall water usage in recent years, have led consumers
to skip daily hair washing, and therefore use all hair care
products less, Mintel said. It has also renewed an interest
in dry shampoos, which converge with another trend for
time-saving hair care products, that are multi-functional
and multi-beneficial. Consumers are also interested in
streamlining their beauty routines, according to Mintel.
Redken’s Deep Clean Shampoo has maximum oil
absorption for all hair types, even sprucing up fourth day
hair, to allow customers to go longer between washes.
The 5-oz. cooling formula features Rhodiola rosea root
(Golden root) extract and oil-absorbing rice and tapioca
starches.

To appeal to consumers who are in a rush, Garnier
Fructis launched a line of Invisible Dry Shampoos. The
4.4-oz. sprays are formulated to keep hair refreshed and
volumized in between washes. Using rice starch, Invisible
