Via a final rule, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
will add hazardous waste aerosol cans to the list of materials that
can be managed under the Resource Conservation
& Recovery Act’s (RCRA) universal waste
management system. The change is expected
to benefit the 25,000 companies that generate
and manage hazardous waste aerosol cans and
provide standards to handle discarded aerosol
cans. In addition, the final rule will ease regulatory
burdens on retail stores and others that discard hazardous waste
aerosol cans; promote the collection and recycling of these cans;
encourage the development of municipal and commercial collection
programs to reduce the quantity of these wastes going to municipal
solid waste landfills or combustors and save the regulated community

ASM Aerosol-Service has secured an agreement to manufacture
and supply AMZEEQ and FMX103 foam products
for Foamix Pharmaceuticals. AMZEEQ (minocycline)
topical foam, 4%, treats acne vulgaris and FMX103 (minocycline)
topical foam, 1.5%, treats papulopustular rosacea.
ASM will make the products at its Möhlin, Switzerland
facility. Foamix expects to launch the products in January
2020.
TricorBraun has joined Amazon’s Packaging Support & Supplier
Network (APASS) Program, which helps vendors, sellers and
manufacturers secure certification of their products as Frustration
Free Packaging (FFP), Ships-in-Own-Container (SIOC) or Prep-Free
Packaging (PFP).

for the Risk Assessment of Enzyme-Containing Consumer Products”
to help consumer product manufacturers, toxicologists, risk assessors
and product safety professionals develop appropriate risk management
assessments and strategies and continue successful product
safety stewardship programs both in the workplace and at home. The
