Paul Stephens has been appointed
Executive Director
Sales for Avon UK. He started his Avon career
in the UK in 2004 and has held a variety of sales
roles throughout his 13 years in the business, the
most recent being Avon Justine Executive Sales
Director in South Africa.
DSM’s Personal Care & Aroma Ingredients business
unit announced the appointment of Gaelle Bathany as Director
of Sustainability for Personal Care & Aroma Ingredients. Bathany
began her career with Soliance (Givaudan) and went on to hold various
leading positions at Univar France and Symrise AG. She joined
DSM in October 2014 as Head of Global Key Account Management
for Personal Care.
AkzoNobel appointed Renier Vree as CFO of
its Specialty Chemicals business, effective March
1, 2018. Vree has spent the last eight years at
Arcadis N.V., where he was CFO and Member
of the Executive Board. Prior to Arcadis, he
spent more than 20 years at Philips N.V., most
recently as the CFO of Philips Lighting.
Qosina Corp. announced the appointment of
Scott Herskovitz to President & CEO. Prior to
his promotion, Herskovitz worked in business
development, serving as VP of Marketing and
(previously) VP of Sales & Marketing at Qosina.
Gelest, Inc. announced the appointment of Ken
Gayer as CEO. Gayer brings more than 20 years
of global chemical industry leadership experience to his new role
and most recently served as Business President of Honeywell Specialty
Products of Honeywell International. Prior to Honeywell, he
held leadership roles at McKinsey & Co. and the Polaroid Corp.,
and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine
Force. Gayer will oversee Gelest’s operations across its product
portfolio and end markets. He will be based at Gelest’s corporate
headquarters in Morrisville, PA. Barry Arkles, who founded Gelest
in 1991, will remain with Gelest as Chief Technology
Officer and as Chairman of the Board of
Directors.
Global packaging manufacturer Coveris has appointed
Jakob Mosser as CEO, effective January
2018. He will take over CEO responsibilities
from Interim CEO Dimitri Panayotopoulos, who
will continue to serve the company as Chairman.

Formulated Solutions announced that pharmaceutical
industry executive Trevor Lewis, Ph.D has
joined the company as VP of Quality & Regulatory.
Lewis has 30 years of leadership experience
within analytical chemistry, quality, regulatory,
GxP compliance, drug development, engineering,
cGMP Manufacturing and validation for
sterile, aerosol inhalation, topical and oral solid
dosage forms. Lewis is also joining the Formulated Solutions Senior
Leadership Team, having previously been employed at Mitsubishi
Chemical Holdings, Catalent Pharma Solutions and Abbott Labs.
He brings to the company extensive regulatory experience in leading
and managing FDA, EMA, ANVISA and MHRA audits and facility
approvals.
B’laster Corp. announced that Ted Bradley has
been promoted to VP of Sales. He will continue
reporting to Randy Pindor, President & COO, and
serving on the company’s leadership team. Bradley,
who has nearly 20 years of sales experience, joined
B’laster in March 2016. Previously, he held an executive
sales/marketing position at Superior Tool.
He also held engineering and sales roles of at Wellman
Products Group, SuperTrapp Industries and Nordson Corp.

appointment of Josh Brooks, previously Publisher of Packaging
News and Electronics Weekly, as Business Development Director,
