18th edition is now set for June 28–30, 2020 at the Mandalay Bay
Convention Center in Las Vegas. The new dates allow the show to

Henkel’s CFO Carsten Knobel will succeed Hans
Van Bylen as CEO on Jan. 1. Knobel will continue
to serve on the Management Board. He began his career
at Henkel in 1995. Van Bylen is stepping down
due to personal reasons after serving with Henkel
for 35 years.
The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists
(NYSCC) has announced its 2020
Executive Board. The members include: Giorgino
“Gino” Macalino of The Estée Lauder Cos. as
Chair; Sonia Dawson of DSM Personal Care North
America as Advisor/Past-Chair; Susanna Fernandes

RB’s CFO & Executive Director of the Board Adrian Hennah is
retiring after serving with the company for seven years. He will be
succeeded by Jeff Carr, who is currently CFO, Management Board
member & Executive Committee member at Ahold Delhaize and
will join RB and the Board by April 9. Hennah will officially retire on
Oct. 21, 2020.

Executive Officers & Area Directors, effective Jan. 1. They include:

Ball Metalpack plans to cease operations at its Springdale, AR plant
in the second quarter of 2020 and will lay off 76 full-time workers,
according to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Production at the plant,
which makes steel packaging for aerosol products and food, will shift
to six of the company’s eight plants in the U.S. In June of 2018, Ball
Corp. and Platinum Equity formed Ball Metalpack with Platinum
Equity owning 51% and Ball Corp. owning 49%.
Procter & Gamble Co. has rolled out the DS3 line, which includes
eight liquid-free cleaning products for personal and home care and is
based on science to remove water and waste from everyday household
products through textiles. The products’ proprietary water-eliminating
technology, which involved 10 years of research and more than 30
patents, reduces product weight by 80% and shipping space by 70%.
The packaging is biodegradable and based on bamboo pulp. In addition
to the Hi-5 Hand Wash, Indulgent Facial Cleanser, Seriously
Foaming Body Wash, Luxury Lather Shampoo and Silk Head Conditioner,
the DS3 line also includes the Clearly Cleaner Laundry Wash,
Sparkling Surface Cleaner and Throne Foam Toilet Cleaner for the
household. To activate the products, consumers remove a swatch
from packaging and add water. The surface cleaner, for instance, can
be placed in a reusable spray bottle when mixed with water.

Cincinnati; Greenstar Award for Cynthia Johnson of C-Care, LLC;

Qosmedix has named Paul Morris as Division
President. He succeeds Hui Herskovitz, who has
been appointed to New Business Development.
Morris previously served as VP of Business Development
for JohnsByrne and has held prior leadership
positions with Berry Plastics,
Cosmetic Essence (CEI) and
WestRock.
Drew Elliott has joined M•A•C Cosmetics as Senior
Morris
VP & Global Creative Director. Previously, Elliott
served as Creative Director of ENTtech Media
Group and was selected as a judge on the television
show “America’s Next Top Model” in 2016.
