Description: The ECOSURF EH series of nonionic surfactants are a new
generation of high-performance, readily biodegradable specialty surfactants.
They are readily biodegradable and have an aquatic toxicity EC50> 10 mg/L.
DOWANOL TPnB glycol ether is a very slow-evaporating, hydrophobic glycol
ether with outstanding surface tension-lowering ability; ideal where high polymer
solvency and residence time are required. .

Procedure:
For Part A, add water and sodium hydroxide and mix using overhead mixer
at 500rpm. Add UltraThix P-100 polymer to water and raise the mixing speed
to 800rpm. Heat the solution to 35–40°C and mix for 20 minutes. UltraThix
P-100 polymer will hydrate and solution will become thick. Turn off the heat.
When the temperature is near room temperature, reduce mixing speed to
300rpm. Add Captivates A encapsulates and allow to mix for 10 minutes.
Prepare Part B by pre-blending the linear alcohol ethoxylate with fragrance oil
forming a clear liquid. Add Part B to Part A. Add remaining linear alcohol
ethoxylate and blue colorant (from Part A), and allow to mix for five minutes.
While mixing, add TroyGuard CM1.5 preservative. Adjust pH and mix until
uniform.

Description: Dehypound Advanced is a blend of nonionic surfactants that
without builder or solvent, using the ASTM D4488 method A6 soil, has better
performance than NPEs or LAEs. One percent active Dehypound Advanced
performs better than many fully formulated commercial HSCs currently sold
in the U.S. I&I and household markets. In addition, the product has low
controlled foam.
