William J. Lueschen Guiding Light and Industry Veteran Bill founded the plant in 1982. He served as AST's Director of R&D until he passed in 2013. As Manager of R&D at American Home Products, Bill developed PAM cooking spray, Wizard Air Freshener, Easy-On Starch, Easy-Off Oven Cleaner and Woolite Rug Cleaner, among many other products. Robert Daria Business Development Manager Bob is the recognized industry expert in aerosol valve technology with over 35 years in experience leading the lab at Precision Valve Co., and Technical Sales at Lindal NA. He also serves on the board of the Eastern Aerosol Association. Manav A. Lalwani Director of Product Development Manav and his team have spearheaded AST’s drive for innovation since 2010. He holds a Master's in International Strategy & Economics from St. Andrews, Scotland, and a Bachelor's from Princeton. Samantha Gribben R&D Manager Samantha is a protégée of Bill Lueschen with over 7 years of formulation experience. She holds a Master's in Chemistry from Seton Hall University. Aaysha Mustafa Associate R&D Manager Aaysha is also a protégée of Bill Lueschen with over 8 years of formulation experience with AST, Johnson & Johnson and Colgate Palmolive. Aaysha holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry from Rutgers University. Fran Harcarik Customer Service Manager Fran loves each one of our customers, and she works to ensure that they enjoy their AST experience. She’s been a member of the AST family since the beginning, with over 18 years of service at the plant. Her son Andrew is a leading production supervisor on the lines.
