The Aerosol Industry Summit 2018, a joint venture between
the National Aerosol Association (NAA), the Southern Aerosol
Technical Association (SATA), the Midwest Aerosol Association
(MAA), the Western Aerosol Information Bureau (WAIB) and the
Eastern Aerosol Association (EAA), will take place March 12-14,
2018 at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown in Nashville TN.

Global personal care company Mary Kay Inc. will build its $100
million manufacturing and research and development facility on a
26.2 acre plot in Lewisville, TX. The beauty company is expected to
break ground on the approximately 470,000 square foot building
this September with a projected completion date in the first quarter
of 2018.
Beiersdorf plans to build a new €230 million ($262 million)
headquarters and research center in the company’s home district of
Hamburg-Eimsbüttel, Germany. Construction on the new buildings
will begin this year with work scheduled to be completed in 2021.
The company’s location will have a total area of about 100,000
square meters with nearly 3,000 state-of-the art working places.
The first annual Luxe Pack Los Angeles trade show is scheduled for
Feb. 7–8 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. In addition
to the boutique-style exhibition portion of the show, which will

include approximately over 100 exhibitors, an educational industry
conference program will complement the business-to-business endeavor.

Kao Corp. announced it will reorganize its domestic sales subsidiaries
relating to the Consumer Products Business, a move that will
include the establishment of two companies specializing in in-store
beauty counseling. The new organization expects to be operational
from Jan. 1, 2018. The reorganization aims to offer new modes of
marketing and sales to maximize the company’s assets.
New on the market, Mettler Toledo ML-T Balances help provide
accurate, repeatable and traceable weighing required for exacting
fragrance formulation processes. The scales offer flexible connectivity
and 0.01g-resolution on a 6kg-capacity balance. Additionally,
stabilization times of two seconds or less enhance processing speed.
ML-T balances can be connected to a PC or networked via an
RS232/Ethernet converter. Its ergonomic design and user-friendly
4.5" touchscreen can be operated through cotton, silicone or latex
lab gloves. Built-in Level Guides warn lab operators if a balance is
not level, providing onscreen guidance for quick re-leveling using adjustable
