Aerosol dispenser with polygonal crimp ring

The Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, OH, patented
an aerosol dispenser, an outer container for an aerosol
dispenser and a preform for an outer container. The
aerosol dispenser, outer container and preform each have
a neck, which in turn has a crimp ring, to receive a valve
cup clinched thereto. The crimp ring has a polygonal cross
section providing alternating flat sides and vertices. The
flat sides both function as integral vents and allow parallel
translation of mold cavities so that a two-piece molding
apparatus may be used.
Sprayable shaving formulation
U.S. Patent No. 10,463,582
Goodson; Mark
Mark Goodson, Columbia, SC, patented a shaving formulation having sesame oil, olive oil, sandalwood oil, broccoli
oil or any combination thereof, which allows for a smooth, non-irritating shave. The composition is preferably
either an aqueous solution or a lotion that does not build up on the skin and preferably has moisturizing,
healing and/or anti-inflammatory properties that prevent or reduce the occurrence of dry skin, irritated/inflamed
skin, ingrown hairs or any combination thereof. The shaving formulation preferably further includes antimicrobial
properties, antiseptic properties or any combination thereof. The sprayable shaving formulation has a low
viscosity that may be applied, from a spray bottle or a container equipped with an atomizing head in the form of a
mist and/or aerosol, to the face or desired body part.
Topical composition containing glycerin and yeast extract
U.S. Patent No. 10,206,870
Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.
Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., Skillman, NJ, patented a topical composition comprising (a) 0.5–25% weight
of glycerin; (b) 0.1–5% weight of cetearyl olivate; (c) 0.1–5% weight of sorbitan olivate; and (d) 0.01–1% weight of
extract of Pichia anomala; wherein the composition is substantially free of fatty alcohols and is in the form of a gel
cream. The composition may be applied via a spray, dropper, tube, roller or patch or added to a bath or otherwise
to water for applications onto the skin. In other embodiments, the composition may be applied directly from a
package to the skin by hand or may be transferred from a substrate such as a wipe or mask.
