Dale Steichen, a recognized cleaning products industry researcher and scientist for more than three decades, is the 2017 recipient of the American Cleaning Institute’s (ACI) Elva Walker Spillane Distinguished Service Award. The honor was presented during the 91st ACI Industry Convention in Orlando, FL. Dr. Steichen is currently the Chief Scientist for AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals and serves as the company’s R&D leader for North America. He served for three years on ACI’s Board of Directors and served as Chair and Vice-Chair of ACI’s Strategic Advisory and Oleochemical Committees. Alban Muller recently received The Most Sustainable Company Award from the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) for its ecoresponsible involvement. According to the company, Alban Muller has taken key initiatives for contributing towards building a sustainable and circular economy since 1978.
