Take a break... May/June Puzzle Betty is missing a one hundred dollar bill. She had stuck it to the refrigerator using a Bugs Bunny magnet, but now it is gone. She looks all over for it—under the refrigerator, under the kitchen table, all over the house, but she can’t find it anywhere. Suddenly, her brother Fred walks in the kitchen and she spots a one hundred dollar bill sticking out of his shirt pocket. She asks him if that is her money, that she left on the refrigerator. Fred says to Betty, “This isn’t the $100 bill you left on the fridge! I found it between pages 25 and 26 of Indoor Comfort Marketing magazine.” “ I know you’re lying and I can prove it!” exclaims Betty. How does Betty prove Fred is lying?
