Figure 4 the exact millivolt drop across the ECO disc itself. The bottom illustration in Figure 5 shows that, by placing a jumper across the “J” block, we can have an alternative to using the millivolt adapter for obtaining the closed circuit readings. One thing to note concerning ECOs and Junction Block connections is that additional safety can be added to systems. However, it is also important to understand that as additional safeties are added into the millivolt circuit then additional resistance is also added to that circuit. Most times there are only 25 to 30 millivolts, so it can get a little tight as to whether any additional safeties can be added.
